Mary Help Association(MHA) is a Faith based NGO following the teaching of the Catholic Church providing humanitarian and developmental services to people in need, irrespective of race, religion, ideology or political affiliation.
Mary Help Hospital
The MARY HELP Association established a maternal and child friendly hospital in the densely populated but so far completely underserved area of Jur River County about 10km North of Wau Town.
The construction of the Out patient department began in the year 2014 and is completed in the year 2017. Since 2017 the outpatient clinic is attended by 250 patients daily average.
Mary Help College of Nursing and Midwifery
The Mary Help College of Nursing and Midwifery was established in the year 2007 in order to meet the enormous Health need of the country and the lack of trained personnel.
240 diploma nurses and 110 enrolled midwives and diploma midwives and 70 community health workers are graduated to date. 330 students are undergoing the training at present.

Mary Help Agricultural Activities
MHA helps every year 2500 families with food during hunger gap and agricultural tools, seeds and ox plough for cultivation of variety of crops like Sorghum, Maize, Sim Sim, green peas, Ground nuts, hard nuts etc.
280 Ox ploughs were given this season to the community.
Primary School Education for underprivileged children
Education is the means of promoting peace. Mary Help opened 9 primary schools in the area of greater Baggari regions and one in the vicinity of Mary Help Hospital called Nyanpath.
Mary help Emergency and Relief
Since long Mary Help Association is involved in the Relief activities during emergencies. Without prejudice or distinction Mary help reach out to those in need with food, NFI and medicines as the need arises.
Wash Activities
Water is essential for life of the people. To get clean d0rinking water is the biggest problem in many of the South Sudan villages.
MHA is actively involved in promoting safe water project by digging boreholes, hand made well and protecting existing water sources.
Mary Help Rural Development
Rural developmental center was established to give dignity to women’s work and make them self reliant. making energy saving stoves, liquid soap preparation, tailoring, Embroidery,crafts work are learnt by the women.
Mary Meals
With the help of Mary’s meal, MHA provides midday meal for 5000 Primary school children in 12 schools.
